Kettler: A Profile

Kettler - from small beginnings

Kettler has grown from a small startup business located in the founder, Heinz Kettler's, home town of Ense-Parsit, Germany, to one of the world's leading manufacturers of sports and fitness equipment, toys, patio furniture, and bicycles. Kettler was established in 1949 and has evolved to distribute to over 60 countries and employ over 2,000 people. Keeping to Heinz Kettler's quality principle of "made in Germany," almost all of Kettler's factories are located in Germany. All organization and administration is still conducted from the town from which Kettler originated, Ense-Parsit. Kettler USA recently celebrated 25 years of operation in the United States. Kettler USA is responsible for distribution of Kettler products throughout North, Central, and South America.

Industry leader

Even though Kettler is at the forefront of the other industries that it is involved in doesn't mean that their line of fitness equipment is not top-notch. Kettler's line of fitness and sports equipment includes their line of elliptical trainers, exercise bikes, rowing machines, weight benches and inversion machines.

Kettler elliptical trainers

Kettler's elliptical trainers are ergonomically designed to ensure comfort and safety during exercise sessions and feature innovative design criteria that set them apart from machines produced by other manufacturers. They feature large, LED readouts that enable the user to read pertinent information at a glance and are easily programmable so there is less time spent figuring out the computer and more time spent exercising. Large, stable foot platforms ensure stability and smooth operation provides ease of use and ergonomic comfort.

Kettler's exercise bikes are also unique in design and among the best available in terms of comfort, ease of use, and style. The ErgoRacer GT is made for the elite cyclist and features a training computer that displays speed, total kilometers traveled, calorie consumption, and pedal revolutions. For those not interested in Olympic Gold, Kettler's other cycling offering feature less racy designs but every bit as much functionality and sophistication. Smooth acceleration is driven by a belt-drive system and sturdy frames ensure comfort and piece of mind so the focus is all on the exercise and not the machine.

Medic-Line

Kettler's Medic-Line of equipment includes the Apollo, which is an incline machine designed to take excess strain off the invertebrate and loosen tension on the surrounding muscles. Manufactured with safety and comfort in mind, they are designed to resist rocking and tipping during operation. Additionally, Kettler's Medic-Line of equipment includes their innovative universal weight bench and vario-bench designs.
