Ab Workouts To Do At Home

Here are two of the best Ab workouts that you can do in the comfort of your own home, the Vertical Leg crunch and the Long arm crunch.  Both of these Ab workouts concentrates on the abdominal muscle groups and provide a solid and dependable way to tone and maintain the abdominal areas in the comfort of your own front room.

The Vertical Leg Crunch
Make sure you have plenty of room as you will need to lie on your back and raise your legs, so ensure that you are not going to knock any priceless vases over.  Then;
1.    Cross your raised legs at the knee
2.    Raise your body off the floor, trying to touch your stationary knees with your belly button
3.    Lower the body and relax the muscles
4.    Repeat
Simple and effective, the Vertical Leg crunch is a great Ab workout.


The Long Arm Crunch
Again ensure that you have plenty of room, then;
1.    Lie flat on your back, with knees bent and arms straight out behind you
2.    Contract the abs and perform a sit up with your arms straight out behind your head
3.    Repeat
Be careful not to strain your neck whilst doing this Ab workout and if you feel any neck pain place one of your arms behind the neck for support.
Both of these workouts require no special equipment and can be done at any time of the day in the home.  They provide a great Ab workout that can be used to tone and firm up the belly area and can become a part of your daily routine.
